Spoken and Written Language
Work is done in a variety of spoken and written languages in the Fab Lab. English is perhaps the most widely understood language in the Fab Lab community but, as a community, we like to see more content and documentation, regardless of the language.
Units
SI Units are preferred. Imperial units are often convenient in the US, so they'll happen too.
Automatic Translation Tools
Integrating automatic translation tools in to Fab Lab websites (through Drupal and WordPress plugins) can help to reduce language barriers where they exist.
