Hello, I have added the Technistub Lab to the list. Someone (thanks to him!) add Technistub on the map but the position is not good. Technistub Lab is in Mulhouse (France) and not near Basel ! There is about 30km difference. Could you correct this ? Thanks

The map is using a scraperwiki script, and scraperwiki is currently in transition, abandoning its old codebase or something. This might have as a consequence that the scraper is not run any more and hence the map does not get updated as it should. We need to look into this issue, but most probably an overhaul of the table would be a better approach. --trox [at] fabfolk [.] com 15:27, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

Need a separate page explaining the access code. I don't really understand the gradations for A-C in any category.

-- yes, will add this --trox [at] fabfolk [.] com 09:24, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

I like the way A2 is listed. I don't want to be exclusive of things on the list while having a way to acknowledge their limitations. It becomes a "judge for yourself" evidenciary thing rather than a closed ruling. Additionally, this can allow a "semiclosed" lab with the same tools and processes to be located and approached by someone who might petition for access. It is pressure and motivation to move towards and become AAAA rather than an outright in vs out exclusion.

What is the + at Jbad's rating AAAB+ --trox [at] fabfolk [.] com 10:12, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

The Afghans skype-chat with people a lot, but not necessarily on complex Fab topics enough to warrant an A rating. Their desire and attempts commendable but connectivity and practical issues make them not on par with the European labs. However, their work with a wide range of internationals on the FabFi and other projects earn them a little more than a B - it's just less real time / fast. Amy 15:37, 16 June 2011 (UTC) -- cool, I see --trox [at] fabfolk [.] com 16:19, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

What's the diff between under development and planned labs? Propose replacing with "Feb/2018" (appropriate month/year) if target opening date is known or "planned" if that isn't yet known. More details can be put in the wiki entry for that page, including tasks or milestones to come. Amy 15:45, 16 June 2011 (UTC) -- planned: there is somebody with an idea and maybe a grant proposal -- under development: work has started, maybe a designated lab manager, requesting offers for machines, ... good idea to add planned opening! --trox [at] fabfolk [.] com 16:19, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

About the maps
