I am the founder and manager of FabLab Essex based in Basildon, Essex , UK . We opened the Fablab on 1 July 2014 although it has been operating incognito for over a year as we built up the full complement of specified equipment, and gathered the necessary experts for each of the main technology areas. We have good associations with the surrounding Makerspace and Hackspace communities and serve the East of England and London.
