Matti sax

My name is Matthías Harðarson. I was born in the year 1993. I live in Vestmannaeyjar. Vestmannaeyjar is the best place in the world. We here in Vestmannaeyjar are with the happiest people in the world. I play in several band for example Big band Vestmannaeyja.

We made the nicest most awesome Christmas windmill that has been made. We have created a rod driven by the motor and used a switch to start and then lightsensor to turn it off. I recommend this site for more details Bjartur

FAB LAB #203


Next thing we learned to do was to programming an arduino. We programmed it to do all kind of things from the book Getting started with Arduino. At first our project was to let it turn on a light when a button was pressed. It worked out well and we turned it on and off a lot of times. When we had figure out the light system we desided to make sound. We got an Fluxamasynth Shield and it helped us to play midi sounds from our computer speaker. After we got everyone at the laboratory mad because of our horrible sounds, we desided to use our music talents and do something that people would listen to. We found a great great soundboard on the internet that helped us to program drum beats. On top of the Fluxamasynth Shield we put an Midi Shield so we could changes our beat. The shield has three buttons on it and two variable resistance. We programmed one of the resistance to change the beat of the drum. We defined five drum sounds, bassdrum, snare, hihat open, hihat close and hihat pedal. We set up an table and we defined how hard the "drummer" would hit the "drum" by numbers. This is the table:

This semester I stared making eletronic circuit both input and output. The input was a light resever and the output was led arry. I scaned Bjarturs face. Then I got the Idea of finnishing Arnars Bjée procet that was 3d puffin head.Then I made a fabIsp. I made a mini photo studio. I also 3d scaned my car.

In one class i used camerasim.com/camera-simulator/ and started to learn on STL cameras

Then Bjartur stared the semester on showing up late
