Hello everyone! My name is Mona and I am 36 years old and I live in Turku, Finland. I am studying to become wood artisan at Raisio Regional Education and Training Consortium, Finland. I am interning at Fab Lab Isafjördur from March 14 th till May 23 th 2017.
I`m interested in the new modern ways to work with wood, from product design, trees effect on human healt and the product serial production. My favorite material and tree is absolutely Finnish Pine.
I am done a lot of furniture but my favorite projects are small objects such as lamps and home products. A good example of my Pine lip balm concept has won the FDS award design competition 2017.
