My name is Simon Engelbertz. I graduated in the field of Media Technologies at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne in May 2011. My final Bachelor thesis was about "FabLab - The benefit of using an innovative workplace design for the academic discipline of media technology". Through the work on my thesis I got in touch with Karsten Joost. Since the beginning of 2011 Karsten and I are working on opening up a FabLab in Bremen, Germany (http://fablabbremen.de/index.php , sorry, the webpage is only in German but we´re working on an english version…).
