Welcome to NMÍ Kvikan! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the help pages. Again, welcome and have fun! trox [at] fabfolk [.] com 06:38, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi MIchael and welcome to the site

thanks for adding your lab. I think that you rated your lab a little too much A; I'd give you a CBBB rating from looking at your website

remember: the rating is for outsiders to get a quick impression if a lab nearby probably is what they expect, not so much a grading as in school ;)

Hi Peter,

thanks for your welcome! You are right, also I oriented to other Listings like the FAU FabLab, which is rated AABB They also wrote "Currently open to all students, but public availability is planned."

So we had our first opening to the public, but we are waiting for our new building, where we will have much more space to open in general. The reference to the charter is added at: http://fablab.hochschule-ruhr-west.de/content/e37/ We also have a large CNC-machine for the use of aluminum and steel, but due to safety-reasons, only my stuff is allowed to use it. But f.e. we did copter-parts for projects with this machine.

Our networking is now "slowly" starting. So we are member of the "fablabinternational.org" - Community and presented on different conferences.

So perhaps the rating AABB might be more exactly?

Yours, Michael
