Michelle Gonzalez-Green serves as Project Manager for Fab Lab Carolinas. Michelle has over 20 years experience serving the nonprofit (NGO) sector in the United States helping to create empowering opportunities for under-resourced communities. Her contributions include serving as an AIDS outreach coordinator and Red Cross certified educator, founding an urban market-gardening enterprise for teens, coordinating the Public Allies NC Leadership Lecture Series, providing transition and recruitment training for the NC Commission for Volunteerism and Community Service (Americorps), co-coordinating the Teaming for Technology Digital Divide project at the Greater United Way of the Triangle, and serving as Executive Director of a nonprofit focused on design entrepreneurship for teens. Michelle brings all of her skills to Fab Lab, and is learning much more along the way.
