A few weeks ago we made a little road trip to Vik. We stopped by at the Black Beach where I picked up some nice and smooth stones to be engraved with the laser cutter.

The settings I used for engraving rocks (same as with marble)

Speed 75

Power 80

For DPI 600 (ran it trough twice if the picture wasn't clear enough)

I engraved the same picture to the piece of wood.

Speed 60

Power 100

For DPI (from left to right) 300, 400 and 600
