  • Download cad, cad.p and cad.cfg from http://fab.cba.mit.edu/about/fab/.
  • Open terminal.
  • sudo mv cad /usr/local/bin/
  • sudo mv cad.py /usr/local/bin/
  • sudo mv cad.cfg /usr/local/bin/
  • sudo chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/cad
  • In Synaptic Package Manager install python-numpy, python-scipy, python-tk
