Who is Albertína?

Albertína is a sociologist and a geographer from the University of Iceland that is also closet nerd with a special relationship to cnc machines. Well not so much in the closet anymore as she's also the new project manager for a new Fab Lab in Westfjords - Iceland. Currently working on improving her skills when it comes to using the Modella milling machine e.g. to create circuits.

Fab Lab Ísafjörður

Is the newest Fab Lab in Iceland, opened in November 2012 (formal opening in January 2013). The Fab Lab in Ísafjörður includes all the good stuff and then some. That includes, among many other things, a 3DTouch 3D printer (double head). The Fab Lab in Ísafjörður is located in the local high school; Menntaskólinn á Ísafirði.
