Karim Jafarmadar, founder and manager of Happylab - Vienna Fab Lab.

I am co-founder of INNOC - Austrian Society for Innovative Computer Sciences based in Vienna. I am a research associate at INNOC and also responsible for administrative management. Since 2006 I am researching software architectures and control algorithms for autonomous sailboats for the Roboat project (www.roboat.at). Numerous international awards have been won by the boats developed by INNOC. I am performing project management activities in international collaborative projects funded by the European Union (INTERERG IIIA and ETC programme). As part of my work at INNOC I founded Happylab - Vienna Fab Lab. Each year I am organising the RobotChallenge, one of the largest international robot competitions in the world.
