FuzyBot “translations”

I find it rather unhelpful to remove manual translations that often are the results of week-long discussions by some FuzyBot translation help. Can you please restore the manual translations that existed on this wiki (e.g. FabCharter)

translations are not gone, but i´m looking for a way to *not** gave a huge red languages bar on every page. work in progress. :)

the only thing effected (should) be the fabcharter, because i experimented on that. restoring now

• :) yes, indeed afaik only the charter pages ... no objections against a translation tool! only: save the work that has been put into translations. the FuzyBot was probably a bit too aggressive -- but I agree some kind of lightweight solution rather than the large bar would be nice -- e.g. showing only existing translations as e.g. "en - de - fr” and allowing to add new translations ... without going all the length of wikipedia with its language sub-domains ... don’t know if there would be an easy solution to integrate a language switch in the left-hand menu that would give you say the French version if there was one and otherwise the Icelandic or English one ... --trox [at] fabfolk [.] com 16:31, 12 August 2014 (UTC)

• • as I watch the Fab Charter page, I got an alert this morning that it had been changed by FuzyBot (with the excuse that it was "Updating to match new version of source page") ... and that I could not revert those changes either. issue with setup/config

Database error on user confirmation

Bas: Loïc Fejoz has requested an account, but confirmation fails with “Database error”

  Did the latest security update and ran maintanance/update.php with php5. Problem seems solved now. (it ran into an error when using php(4))
