How I got here...
I am the Career Exposure Coordinator at Blanche Kelso Bruce Academy in Detroit, MI.  I was invited to attend to learn what a Fab Lab IS and DOES in order to connect the world of work experiences I plan for the students to the Fab Lab possibilities.

I did not have any prior expereince in the Fab Lab or with the product designs and construction process.  I was a little anxious about my limited knowledge of the technical skills, but was very excited about the creative possibilities!
