Design

  • I designed things in Inkscape for 2 D shapes.
  • I scanned statue of puffin in Roland Dr. Picza. see 3D scanning
  • I mirrored the 3-D model in Blender.

Production

  • I did some experiments using candle wax.
  • It did not turn out so great.
  • It is much better using the modelling wax, because you can get better details. But if you don't need much detail, it is ok to use the candle wax.
  • I used Shopbot machine for making model of Iceland.
  • I used modella for making model of puffins.
