Smiðjurnar ná yfir 3 daga (3 tímar í senn) og þú lærir að hanna í Inkscape og skera út form í laser- og vínilskeranum.
*Smiðja 1: Mánudaginn 22.9, miðvikudaginn 24.9 og föstudaginn 26.9 kl. 13 - 16.
*Smiðja 2: Þriðjudaginn 23.9 og fimmtudaginn 25.9 kl. 18-21 og laugardaginn 27.9 kl. 9 - 12.

Session 1 - introduction day: welcome to the lab
Show & Tell, introduction to the possibilities in the lab. Demonstrating machine's & showcase different user projects.
Homework: think about a personal design, (& if possible) make a simple sketch on paper.
Session 2 - designing day: introduction to inkscape.
Walk trough inkscape, learn how to trace drawing, how to draw by hand, and how to edit shapes & text.
Before class: If you bring your own laptop’s, download & install inkscape.
Session 3 - the make day: working on the vinyl cutter and laser cutter.
Finish the design or make a second one, and learn / experiment with the lasercutter and the vinylcutter.
Materials
Our standard material are included in the workshop.
- For laser cutting: We have colored acryl, MDF and cardboard in stock.
If you wish to try lasercutting fabrics (cotton, felt or leather) you can bring in your own supply. same for Lasercut linoleum stamps
- For vinyl cutting: We have colored vinyl in stock (for inoors walls & windows).
It's also possible to vinylcut your own Tshirt print (we have that specific vinyl in stock) but bring you own T-shirt.
