My background is in Industrial and Service Design since I have a Master of Science in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy) and I have also studied at the Elisava School of Design (Barcelona, Spain). I've been interested in Design as a strategic process for enabling collaboration within distributed systems with open and p2p dynamics since 2005 with my master degree thesis. I then founded the project, an open source community for the research and design for open, complex and collaborative projects, systems and processes. I've given lectures and workshops in Italy, Finland, Germany, Mexico, Spain, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea. Currently I'm a doctoral candidate in the Media Lab of the Aalto University – School of Art and Design and Producer for the Fab Lab activities at Aalto Fab Lab (Aalto Media Factory) in Helsinki, Finland.
