I'm presently a pedagogical consultant for a school district in Montréal, Québec, Canada. My role his to help elementary and highschool teachers promoting science litteracy. The E part of the STEM, engeneering concepts, represent the greater challenge to implement. As an edtech advocate since 1996 in science education, digital and printed books. Montréal's first mini Maker Fair made me realize that digital creations are'nt enough to create a good STEM activity, nor than a workshop only activity. The void created wad filled by the objectives of the FabLab community.
